In this journey of life, we will face difficult and challenging times. In today’s world there is much uncertainty, distress, anxiety and fear. Yet in the midst of it all, there is a light of comfort and hope that shines forth and it comes from the God of the ages. This amazing God is a love God, a God who loves, for God is love the Bible says (I John 4:8). The power of His love, compassion, and care shines forth to all and its’ always been there.
At Open Door Christian Center, we are on a journey to know and experience more and more this eternal God who wants to be called, “Father”, and His Son Jesus Christ. We are on a quest to learn about Him, His ways and what the width and length and depth and height of His extravagant love has provided through His awesomely great redemptive plan.
At Open Door Christian Center, we have discovered that it is through the Holy Bible, which is God’s written Word to mankind, that we are able to learn about who God really is, become familiar with His will, His purpose and His plan and what He’s made available through His outstretched hand. It is as His Word abides in us that faith comes alive, fear is overcome, and anxiety is replaced with peace and joy.
